The Mystery on the Train. By: Lydia Dyslin.
Sorry for the text being so small, My computer wont let me fix it. :(
Author Interview
1)Where did you get your idea for the book?
I started reading a book series called Trixie Belden. Previously my only exposure to mysteries had been Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, so I was amazed (and pleasantly surprised) at how good the Trixie books were. I wanted to write something like that, too, so I started writing my Scarlet books.
2)Who is your inspiration?
I have many inspirations, including C.S. Lewis, Susan K. Marlow, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
3)Is there going to be a sequel?
Yes! The working title is The Boarding School Mystery, but that will probably change.
4)How many more books are you planning to write?
I'm shooting for around ten books in the first series . . . yes, I have plans for a second series, too. ;) I actually have a gradual storyline (as well as the specific plots for each book) planned out. So if you enjoyed The Mystery on the Train and want more, well then . . . you're in luck! ;)
Book Review
I did read this book, and absolutely loved it! I was lucky enough too be one of the very first beta readers.
(I personally know Lydia)
The Scarlet Paddleburrow Mystery Series, is for girls ages 8-12.
Scarlet, to me, have very good personality and have been written very well! (Same goes for Kat)
And the Mystery part, witch is obviously the main part, was introduced amazingly.
(As you know, I am not very good at book reviews.)
The book releases on April 14th to Amazon Kindle.
